Who is this chick anyway?

If I'm being honest, she's still a bit of a mystery - even to me! She's a mercurial observer with black cat energy, a cynic with a morbid sense of humor, and more comfortable in other people's skin than her own. And yes, she is me.

I'm an actor with a BA in Theater and this is my pseudonym. During the pandemic, after spending many years performing in historical dramas and immersive horror productions in LA, I pivoted to audiobook narration full time. M.K. is one part of me, the part that can be all about romance all the time. The inspiration for my pseudonym comes from one of my favorite horror author's characters. I'll let you stew on that...

Romance books are designed to make you feel things, and boy do they! As a horror girlie I'm a big fan of building suspense and tension and, in my opinion, the only other genre that offers those same electric, spine tingling, goosebumps is romance. There are so many sub-genres and endless possibilities that almost anyone can find their little own little corner. If you've made it over to mine I hope you feel held, awakened, and intellectually and emotionally aroused.

What's so great about romance?
